Another Beautiful Close To My Heart Twitterpated Scrapbook Layout-Brothers & Sisters

I LOVE how this layout turned out, don't you? This is my version of the layout featured on page 69 in the new Close To My Heart Autumn/Winter Idea Book. I fell in love with this layout design right away but was only able to finish the layout after finding just the right photos for it. The journaling isn't done yet but will be soon. I used two of the Twitterpated papers and one paper from the Emporium paper pack. I also used many different embellishments, too numerous to mention so if there's anything you see that you really like, just ask me about it.

While visiting with my family in Upstate NY last month, we found ourselves with no children or grandchildren around. Wow! No children to bug or bother us? How could that happen? No matter, we had a blast and didn't even miss the kids! LOL...it was the first time we had all been together in a very long time without kids. We enjoyed it so much and laughed so hard that our stomachs hurt. We didn't care though because I think we all needed that release from the day to day worries. This is one day we will not forget! FYI-I am the one in the gray sweats!

We also took photos of our mom and dad and a couple group shots of all of us. As soon as those photos have been scrapped, I will post them.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great day!

I also added some sparkle with the new Twinkle Brads that come in Tulip, Twilight, Olive and Hollyhock colors. The title and snowflake die cuts were made with my Cricut machine. The design is from CTMH's Cherish how-to book called Pleasing Paradigm. I hope you enjoy the layout!

Close To My Heart Scrapbook Challenge #30-Life's Little Moments

Here's the latest layout I created for the Weekly Scrapbook Challenge. I am a bit late posting this and I apologize. This layout was created with an older paper pack called "Key To My Heart" that was a special promotion kit quite some time ago and is no longer available. I still had some of the paper left and wanted to use it up. I used the Safe & Secure design from the 'Imagine' how-to book from Close To My Heart. Other products used are the stamp set that came with the kit, Colonial White softset eyelets, Sorbet ribbon and Spring Blossom brads. Hope you enjoy the layout!

Okay, I know Fall has already been here for awhile but I just wanted to share some photos of the beautiful foliage I enjoy here in my neck of the woods. Fall is my favorite time of the year and I always take tons of photos. I still haven't made it to a pumpkin patch yet but hope to do that this week. Hope you enjoy these photos as much as me!

Close To My Heart Scrapbook Challenge #29

Now I am all caught up with posting the weekly scrapbook challenge layouts. Woohoo! This one was also made with the Sweet Home paper pack from CTMH. The design for this layout, Introduction, comes from the Imagine how-to book from Close To My Heart. All the design books from CTMH are awesome! Especially when you're having a creative block, which most of us tend to do from time to time.

This layout showcases some photos of my son and his family on a trip to The Peirce-du Pont House at Longwood Gardens. My son is a bit of a history buff and really wanted to check out this house. He totally enjoyed every bit of it! And I hope you enjoyed this layout! Thanks for looking!

Close To My Heart Scrapbook Challenge #28

Here's layout #28 for the weekly challenge I participate in. I used the new Grace paper pack for this layout and titled it 'Thankful' in anticipation of Thanksgiving. Therefore, there are no photos yet. I also used the new Wonder Heartfelt Die-Cuts for the first time. I like the results, don't you? The die-cuts come in the colors of Chocolate, Olive and Twilight and are pretty awesome! There's tons of designs in each of the 3 colors that will add just the right touch to your cards or layouts.

Close To My Heart Scrapbook Challenge #27

I am so far behind in my posting of these weekly challenge layouts. I apologize! I have been very busy lately. First a trip to NY to visit family, then working on Christmas cards for an upcoming workshop plus trying to prep for my next scrap classes. There is not enough time in a day to complete everything I'd like to get done and I don't even work outside the home any more!

Anyway, this layout was created with the new Sweet Home paper pack from Close To My Heart. I used the back sides of the papers for a monochromatic look and threw in some Buttercup for a bit of contrast. I also used ribbon from the Buttercup Collection. The stamp set used is 'Around the Block' which is the November Stamp of the Month. Ask me how you can earn this stamp set at a discount or even FREE!

Close To My Heart Scrapbook Challenge #26

I just realized that I am a week behind in posting the weekly challenge layout. So sorry! Here is #26 made with the new 'Sweet Home' paper pack from CTMH. I really love the yellows and blues in this paper pack. I also used a few of the My Stickease that match the paper pack even though I am NOT much of a sticker person. Every now and again I like to play with them. Other products used on this layout of my son's wedding are Nature's Ambiance Rub-Ons, White Daisy Mini-Medleys embellishments, Buttercup Ribbon, Garnet and Indian Corn Blue inks and the garnet flowers are from Prima.

Close To My Heart-Sweet Home Tri-Fold Card

Isn't this card just too awesome? I'd been seeing several of these made by my sister CTMH consultants lately and loving them so much that I decided to give it a try for myself. What an easy peasy card to make and how beautiful it turned out! I used one of the newest paper packs from Close To My Heart called 'Sweet Home' and the stamp set that comes with the Workshop on the Go kit for this paper pack. This paper pack is so cool! I love everything about it especially the fact that it is double-sided because the opposite side is just as gorgeous as the front. Now to figure out who the lucky recipient of this beautiful card will be! That is the question! Hope you enjoy it!

CloseTo My Heart Scrapbook Challenge #25

Wow! Can you believe we are now in week 25 of the Weekly Scrapbook Challenge? It's amazing how fast the time has gone and to realize how many layouts I have created since the challenge began all those weeks ago. I have participated in this challenge since the very beginning and haven't missed a week yet. I'm so proud of myself and happy that I have been able to keep up with my scrappin'.

Anyway, this layout was created with the Game On paper pack from Close To My Heart. It was a new paper pack quite some time ago but I never really took the time to play with it. The design used for the layout is from the 'Cherish' how-to book by CTMH and the name of the design is 'Portrait Collection'. I used the Rustic Alphabet for the large letters, The Works Alphabet for the rest of the title, the Chocolate Alphabet for the date and the Classmate Alphabet for the small words. Other products used: black cardstock and ink, desert sand ink, bamboo cardstock and ink, twill ribbon, black bitty brads and swirls along with some dimensional elements chipboard pieces.
